Expired Expectations held a hoof to his temple. As the night wore on he could tell the music was getting louder and louder. Which didn't offer much relief for his headache or his temperament. Exp eyed the perverted bartender as he held the megaphone to make an announcement. The 'speed dating' part of the event was now OVER. "Finally--" He murmured to himself. His voice dripping in disdain. He didn't agree to any 'mingling' or 'dancing' so he was ready to call it a night. It was a long lonely walk back to home. For a brief moment he thought about one or two of the phonies he might have wanted a little more time with but ultimately he shook his head. He was sure that he didn't make a lasting impression on anyone this evening anyway. This was a waste of time. He just needed to say goodnight to his mother. Expired wanted to make sure she wouldn't be walking home alone in the dark.

The grumpy unicorn turned to look for Sweet Bread, but then felt a rapping on his shoulder. Expired turned around defensively, and puffed out his chest. He was not used to physical contact so this startled him. Standing before him was the, let's be honest, stunning powerful and very pissed gamer-girl alicorn. His time with Hush had been memorable to say the least. After it all, he was still not sure how he felt about her. Whatever internet persona she had going on drove him up the fucking wall. He would not waver.

She remembered how flirty he was with Rosewrite. He was so embarrassed. She giggled to herself as she reintroduced herself.

"Hmm, lately I've started to enjoy hard seltzers. Fruity and fizzy. What is your drink of choice?"

Sweets froze seeing the next phony. She was tall. Sweet blushed wildly looking at the stunning figure. Was it the lighting in her or was this phony's coat actually sparkling? It took everything in her to introduce herself.

After the question Sweet was knocked back into reality. "Can I say falling in love for the first time?" She smiled, but started to blink away tears. "I know that's not a great answer for a first date." Sweets laughed, uneasy but finding comfort in the uncomfortable.

"I don't think I have ever been around anything dead before... I imagine it's a little scary but also peaceful? Quiet. No more bills. No more stress. Is that morbid?" She tilted her head a bit.

"7??" She questioned herself. "I am no stranger to a flour explosion in the kitchen, but magic tends to help in most cases."

"That is difficult. I love birds, but I think that is with a bit of envy. They can easily fly away if they feel like it. But they are soft, round and can sing. I am like a flightless bird!~" She chimed happily.

Wisp becomes distracted midway through your conversation by literally anything and points to something else in the room. "Would you look at that, isn't that neat?"
Sweet turns to see the phony pointing at an empty glass at the table next to them. It took a while for her to notice but the ice had lined up in a satisfying row. Was that what she was pointing at?? "Hmm, the ice? That is really nice." She said unsure, but smiling at the interesting character before her.

"...My husband." She bowed her head and stepped away quickly. Blinking away tears again. Maybe she wasn't ready for this.

Once he finished, the unicorn was able to sit back and take a good look at what the two of them created. He was proud what the two of them were able to make together. He smiled watching Bee level off everything for the perfect measurements. Most the rest of the class were finish up their projects and washing up and getting ready to head outside for lunch and recess.

"So I'm thinking mostly brown and then we can add some of these warm colors at the top to look like the lava is spilling out. It will add to the effect." The phony checked in with his partner before grabbing a brush and starting to paint with the brown.

He was happy to take his time through the project. Half the fun would be getting to build this volcano. Why skip to the end? He shuddered at the pair who just pour all of their vinegar and baking soda together right at the beginning.  "Okay... so if that goes there. Then this can go here." He said walking through the instructions a bit more. "Now we can layer up the clay!" Rorschach didn't use his magic much so he just started to build up the clay by hoof.

Bijou looked to Mr. Gold studying his gem eyes. They glittered like everything else in this store. She was sure that the lighting was particularly flattering for them though.  She had not had the chance to meet a gem eyes phony before. A unique and rare trait. She said coming form a family of rather... unique individuals. Stitches, fangs, you name it! They we're an odd family. She she could appreciate the beauty in things that may of not been shown that kindness before. She had to bounce between the two, one was certainly more of a handful. So many questions. Bijou took the time to place two tiaras before the tiny princess. "Here is one that I finished recently. It's a stunning rose gold. The gem in the middle is a soft emerald that reminds me of your eyes." She gestured from one crown to the other. "And this one is very similar to mine, its small and delicate. I think the silver, would glitter and glint just like your fur under the dramatic stage lights."

She pushed for Expired to try it out, but he refused unless she suffered through this as well. He could see through her. The past couple years had been a whirlwind. Bijou Blende stepped into the bar and looked around with a sleepy gaze. Ugh, she had finished up a custom order at work and was too tired to be here right now. Why did this have to be tonight? She went straight to the bar and ordered a double espresso. The bartender looked at her funny, unsure if she was being serious or not. She didn't blink, waiting for the sweet relief of caffeine to get her through this night.

When she finally got her drink, she turned to scan the crowd. "Wisp??" Bijou trotted over to sit next to her sibling. It would be less weird if she made her presence known now. "Hey there, I didn't know you would be here tonight. I feel better knowing someone here. Did you think of any good questions yet?" She said peering over occasionally as she tried to figure out her own questions.

The little bell over the door caught her attention as two potential clients walked in. Bijou lifted her head and flipped up her goggles to get a better view of them. An odd pair, but quite sparkly. She liked them. "Hello there, little one. A recital, huh... that is very exciting." She nodded along and sat down her current project. She hopped down from her chair to greet them properly. Welcome into Enchanted, custom jewelry and metalworks. My name is Bijou and I am the store owner." She offered formalities for the older looking one.

"Do I have any tiaras?" She smirked slightly as she adjusted her own. It glinted in the light. "I'd say they are a specialty of mine." The pegasus made her way over the the display case. It was filled with tiaras of various precious metals and gemstones. "I am happy to let you try on whatever you would like." She said smiling, the light in the young pegasus' eyes were a delight.

Rorschach turned to his partner Bee Sweet. He had not had the chance to work his Bee yet, but was excited by the opportunity. In class he demonstrated politeness and a gentleness about him. Rorschach gave a small smile and began to overlook the instructions with his partner. "No, I can't say that I have... But it looks like fun."

The young unicorn started with the 'ingredients' for today. "Looks like we have some clay, paint, baking soda, food coloring and vinegar." He said tapping each of the ingredients with his hoof just to make sure they were all accounted for. "Okaaaay, step one is to build our mountain!~"

"Please, don't go!" He blurted out quickly. The young unicorn feeling uneasy with the idea of somepony moving from their spot because of him. "I am the one intruding on you. I would never expect you to leave." Rorschach said looking to the filly in hopes that she wasn't ready to dash off.

He took in a deep breath trying to steady himself. "Besides it would be nice to have lunch with someone." He offered humbled.
