*Pre-move park map, updated map coming soon

In an unspecified location in an urban world somewhere in cyberspace lies the massive themepark-city known as Phonyland, a fun and exciting home to lots and lots of living plastic Phonies, where anyone may come and play!

:: Phony City
A visitor entering through the welcoming gates will find that they open out into a small but complete Phony town - our beloved Phony City, with all the amenities you may expect of modern civilisation! Here is where most of the residing Phonies work and live, their myriad shops and businesses populating the charming city streets, around and past the beautiful town square that greets all entering for the day, often hosting stages and booths for various seasonal events.

Off to the left are the Phony dormitories, colloquially referred to as the Stables, where most Phonies, both owned and unowned, may be housed. The architecture of the dormitories is varied, from modern apartment blocks to cosy cottages, and a number of hotel accomodations, both grandoise and boutique, are also available here for for staying visitors.

On the opposite side of the City lies the Administrative sector, fronted by the gleaming Administration Building, and brought up by the various factories that form the lifeblood (both literally and also not) of Phonyland. Let's not go there.

:: Phony Kingdom
The wide, cobbled path that cuts through the middle of Phony City from town square, its lamplights often festooned with seasonal decorations, leads to...Phony Castle! The gorgeous Castle heralds the fairgrounds of Phony Kingdrom all around it, an exciting cornucopia of rides and greets and fair food - every imaginable sort of themepark fun!

The lavish yet exacting Quirosel! The elegantly creepy if somewhat self-aggrandising Phontom Manor! The excitingly splashy Mount Drippy! The ingeniously terrifying Towel of Terry*! The aggressively dizzying Angry Soup Bowls! The ubiquituous Diminutive Planet! These are only some of the beloved attractions of Phony Kingdom!

Twice a day - once in the bright sun, and once after night falls, right before park closing - a dazzling Phony parade circles through the Kingdom, with themed floats showing off a varied array of Phonies in their sparkling best. Another wonderful day comes to an end at Phonyland.

:: Adventures in Nature
Past the concrete and cobblestones, the rest of the park boasts natural landscapes for Phonies to roam free and seek adventureTM! The rolling grassy plains are bordered by all the conveniently adventure-laden features any self-respecting Saturday morning cartoon may wish for: a mysterious forest, a mountainous region undoubtedly hiding a network of caves, and a shimmering lagoon complete with waterfall!

The sizeable lagoon houses a considerable number of Mers, many with custom habitations far under the surface, and the mountains still host quite a few Flutters out in the wild, where you might even encounter a rare Windywing or two! And the woods and caves have all kinds of weird things. Don't go there, man.

Somewhere beyond the lagoon lies a wide sea, the seaside but a brief journey from the park for further adventures.

:: Transportation
Phonyland is accessible via many types of transport, including by road to the park gates. The Phonyland subway stop is located right in front of the park, and connects to Phonyland's own light subway system to continue under much of Phony City for its inhabitants' convenience.

Past the Phony Kingdom stop at the border of the City, however, it is the sleek and cheerful Phonyland monorail that ferries commuters through Phony Kingdom and beyond, with a stop or more at each natural zone, through to the Lagoon's Ferry Stop, where the Docks at the far end of the Lagoon hosts a ferry service that brings visitors to and fro the seaside.

There is also a helipad atop the Administrative Building, but we don't talk about that.

:: Phonies Leaving Phonyland
Phonyland is happy for all its beloved Phonies to work and play in Phonyland forever! We just love you all so much! But we know there are many adventurous Phonies with your lives ahead of you (and also owners), who might just want to leave your childhood home and make your way in the big wide world.

Fly free! Being in an unspecified location in an urban world somewhere in cyberspace, it means that Phonies who leave, whether on a short trip, or for good, may also experience all the various adventures and excitement the average modern world has to offer.

Have fun!

*"First, a bellhop locks you into a hotel room - there are towels everywhere! They are towels of terrycloth. You have to solve the locked room mystery to escape.
Then you open the door and step out - into an elevator! The elevator drops." Towel of Terry was a surprisingly hard ride to pitch.

. MY LITTLE PHONY FAQ.
Here are some frequently asked questions about Phonies and Phonyland NOT already addressed on the Front Page or associated "Please Read" links!
If you have any questions, feel free to just ask us via Discord or DM, and we will do our best to answer!

:: IC Questions

Generally :: "Just keep in mind that nothing is considered canon UNLESS we explicitly state so/approve it - and even then, things can change with new developments. Generally, Phonyland (and D-T3CH) is technically supposed to be a totalitarian sci-fi dystopia masquerading as a fun and attractive fantasy world! ...But it's so boring when I type it out like that. Anyway, just ask me if there's anything you need to know for plotting/questing's sake!" - Jun

Q: How do non-Unicorn Phonies do all these strange things without digits?!
The Hasbro cartoon has shown forelegs being able to contort upwards and bear objects aloft! Tennis players play tennis...single-hoofed with a racquet! Who are we to argue with cartoon physiology? Nevertheless, their primary object-manipulator still appears to be their mouths, but you can probably play fast and loose with this.

Q: How many Phonies, ICly-speaking, exist?
IC-ly speaking (actual B/C numbers notwithstanding), many, like any living city. Each Phony - including yours! - is theoretically a supporting cast member (well, your main character, if it's yours) among vast numbers of Phonies, so no one Phony (possibly unless paid bucketloads for and marketed that way) should be The Chosen One - but if you're tasteful enough to be here, you didn't need us to tell you that, did you? ; D

Q: Are Phonies flesh and blood?
They are warm, squishy, furry, and seem to breathe. Nevertheless, nobody but Maxx and Jun know what they're actually made of...and don't try to find out or you'll probably regret it. What you do know is that nanites run through every Phony... Nanites have been our one-stop answer to everything since HyTech began! We've been deliberately ambiguous about the details because we often have to change things behind the scenes as we introduce new species with new traits...so the only thing that's sure is: it's a mystery to everyone but Jun and Maxx...
(But, seriously, Phonies are techno-organic constructs powered by nanotechnology.)

Q: Do Phonies die?
No Phony has actually died* to date - the special effects on the supernatural-appearing Phonies are programmed through their nanites (likewise, unicorn magic is just nanite-powered forcefield-based telekinesis). Can Phonies die? ...Maybe, but Phonyland maintains a record of every unique 'thought signature' and each has its own associated memory bank...

Q: Can Phonies be maimed?
Technically, yes. You can lop off a limb, and it will stay lopped off. Can it be regenerated? Yes, bring your Phony back to the admin building...* Can Phonies fall ill? They certainly appear be capable of it, as well as healing (or not healing) as per normal human capability on their own...

Q: Can my Phony be a criminal?
A: Sure! Phony City is a working, living city, and criminals are a part of any city! Lit: Phonyland works to portray Phony City as a working, living city, and criminals, being part of that portrait, are allowed within it as long as their activities are deemed more useful than detrimental to Phonyland itself (e.g anything that dissuades visitors from Phonyland is a no-go.)...and Admin has a failsafe for those...

:: OOC Questions

Q: Why are there so few Phonies offered on a regular basis?
A: Because Jun is the only artist and he is very slow and tired all the time. QAQ Maxx does the Permas but he's always very busy hustling to keep us alive. We have a lot of problems and are very poor and sad. But we'll do our best to keep making Phonies because we love them and you!

Q: Why is the post background white? Can we change it to a less white colour for accessibility?
A: The post backgrounds are currently white because we migrated this from Gaia Online, and so all our old certs have solid white backgrounds...we're so sorry... We're very slowly working on a solution to that, and would like to change the post background colour at some point of time, but we have currently have no ETA on it. In the meantime, we use f.lux and other colour temperature adjustment means to cope, and hope they'll be able to help you too!

Q: Why is there a [1] next to Profile?
A: That means you've got a new Mention! That you should click on Mentions to view and clear! We tried. Q_Q

Q: Can I put my Phonies in adopts repositories like Toyhou.se?
A: Yes! Please credit and link back to My Little Phony where possible, thank you!

:: Silent Quill | Majordomo
...owned by Jun...
In lieu of the lazy busy owners who are rarely seen within Phonyland, the austere if reticent Silent Quill is in charge of all Phony operations, and oversees the Phony Directory personally: there is not a Phony who escapes his attention. Silent Quill is a Brush 'N' Grow Unicorn, but few ever see the ludicrous lengths his mane and tail extend to after grooming as he is wont to lop off the excess right after in inconvenienced rage.

:: Fireflight | QC Officer
...owned by Maxx...
Unlike Silent Quill, the laidback, smooth-talking Pegasus Fireflight thoroughly enjoys his job as QC Officer. In charge of vetting new Phony proposals, he takes joy in smacking down potential Phony Sues, checking out forthcoming Phony to chat up or pal around with. His temper is terrible to behold when roused, but he is also quick to move on, and loves a good joke as long as he's not the target. Enjoys driving Silent Quill up the wall.
