"AHHA!" she shouted out loud in the darkness. "I knew it," she said as she stared down from atop the large heap of rejected plastic blisterpacks, her torch shone into the distance to reveal more than one paths which was blocked by strange looking short creatures that definitely were not ponies... Clicking her tongue, she jumped down to warn the others but was stopped when she heard them call out that they wont' tell the right path to run through unless they tell them interesting facts about phonycity's park that they don't know about since they've lived hidden away all this time. When one of the naked creature mentioned about nanites, her long term memory went and retrieved an interesting event that has happened just recently.

Moving her hair out of her face, to take a better look at the strangers, she shone her torch at their faces before pointing it back towards the ground. "Nanites you say.. heh, just a couple months back, during Halloween- the witches came for a visit... One was rumoured to possess a shiny crystal horn with crystal eyes although i didn't get to see her myself, while one came from the sea draped in seaweed hair, and --" she said with a cunning sly smile -- "and one of them was rumoured to be made of  candy. not just any kind of candy, but of candycorn with a candycorn horn to sboast!! Nophony knows how many of them are in existence. it's very possible that one of them witches already made this very mountain cave their home..."

Wabi Sabi paused in his walk to stare at the toy store worker waving a flag around and calling out to passing patrons. There was already a huge crowd of phonies and people alike, staring at something and exclaiming. His curiosity got the better of him, and the foal trotted over to squeeze in between the legs of a human couple.

A row of stuffed phonies, all around his size, stared at him with shiny plastic eyes, faux fur rustling in the winter breeze. They were being snatched up left and right, with more replacing them in a myriad of colors, but all smiling.

The pale foal at first thought their stares unnerving, but the longer he looked at him, the more the childish want within him called out, asking for a life sized plushie of his very own. But how could he justify getting one...?

"Well, I DO need someone to guard my driftwood collection when I'm not home..." he said timidly, poking an earth plushie on the nose before it was picked up and given to someone, and replaced with a pegasus with tiny wings.

"Not that one." he muttered, disappointed, but that was how it worked. He wasn't fast enough. Wabi began to search the row of plushies, pondering on which one to take.

She always wanted one but had no idea how dirty and tattered it may become if she carried that around with her everywhere she went. And the fact that someone might steal it if she left it unattended for too long as she filmed things with her awesome camera...

But this time. this time she had a plan. If she manages to get one, she can have her brother look after it. Or lock it up in a wooden chest. She wheeled herself closer on her board to try and get a better view of the plushies.

Her eyes sparkled as she saw a rainbow pegasus being thrown her way, but it quickly turned into a sad face as it got grabbed and bought buy a teenager human chewing on bubble gum. Her front legs reached out only to catch air. Those humans were so fast at grabbing things. She wished she had hands and arms like them too.

Cossi tried to wiggle her way closer to the front but all patrons were like zoo animals going wild trying to buy one or five of those plushies. "Hey watch it!" she screamed over the loud chatter and screaming. There was so much pushing and shoving that the little mer lost her balance and got pushed near the back of the line.

"Oof! How rude!" she screamed silently and fell onto the ground as she got elbowed in the face. It hurt. a lot. She laid there for a bit and exhaled slowly. "I NEED to have one of those," she muttered under her own breath.

Wabi was having more difficulty than he thought with getting a plushie. Every one that he wanted was snatched away from him. He thought that maybe the crowd would thin out, but the mayhem only served to draw more people in.

The little colt bounced around as people shoved, before spying a sparkly purple
design. That one! he thought. trying to time his movements with the waves of the crowd. That would be the perfect plush to watch over his collection...

Cossi flopped to the side and dove right between the crowd of ponies at the front of the sales, and hid away from grabby hands of greedy kids trying to grab a plush to bring home from visiting the theme park.

"Geezus that was close! I can't imagine being taken away from this place!" She used a hoof and swept her hair aside, wiping away a trickle of sweat that got onto her cheek. All the ruckus and yelling drowned out what she had just said.

Looking around, she couldn't even attempt to get on her hoverboard to get away. She'll have to report to security to get a new one later for this one got dinged onto the floor and stepped on a couple of times.

Slowly, after hiding her board, she dragged herself towards the back, little by little, avoiding stomping legs, she managed to inch away from the crazy crowd.

His plushie was being taken away! Wabi gasped, and in a very uncharacteristic dash, swung between various legs and arms to reach his prize.
It was even more purple-y and sparkly upclose, and he admired how real it looked.

He reached out to grasp the tail of the plush, intent on wrestling it away from whomever was taking it.

She was ALMOST out. almost able to get away from the crazy crowd. she bobbed her body towards the grassy lawn,  and felt herself being jerked to the side! That's not where she wants to go!

Cossi didn't make a sound but she was terrified!

SOMEONE ACTUALLY GRABBED ME!

I'M NOT A PLUSH!

Who would....

She mer turned to see who it was that wanted her so badly.  She wanted to yell at him to stop pulling on her tail, but......an idea came to her through all the chaos of everyone wanting to buy these damn plushies.

Turning his way, she flopped herself along toward him. I'll pretend to be his own special plush, for now.

Cossi, herself, was curious as to how far he could take her away from the crowd.

It must have been stuffed with some sort of weight, maybe to keep it from flopping over, because by the time Wabi had pulled the plush free, he was breathing heavily with the strain. It was so pretty! Purple and sparkly...

He looked around, hoping to find a way to bring his prize home, but no wagons or carts were helpfully parked nearby. Instead, he managed to wiggle himself underneath the toy, draping it across his back as he started to trudge home. The crowd around him was stressing him out, making it hard to think.

She could sense him struggling to lift her much longer...and she shifted her weight onto her tail and let it flop to the ground as he crawled underneath her to lift her up...

Cossi felt bad and quietly took out her hover-board. She placed it just so that it's directly beside the tired bab and made an "AAHH" sound as if someone as falling down, and let herself roll off of him and onto her trusty board. There was a *FLOP* noise of her jumping onto the hoverboard.

Now very curiously watching him, she blinked once or twice to see what Wabi would do next. Did she scare him? or did he not notice she was real yet..?

Wabi felt the toy slipping off his back, and he watched it flop...nicely onto a hoverboard. Where did that come from? Was it there already....

Something seemed strange. Wabi bent down, gazing at the realistic button eyes on the plush...


And


it


BLINKED.


Wabi shouted in alarm, rearing up onto his hind legs and stumbling backwards. A couple people looked at him curiously, but didn't react. His hooves windmilled wildly before he landed right on his cutie markless rump, breathing as if he had run a marathon.

Laying sideways on her comfy board, she couldn't help but cover her mouth with her hooves to let out a few giggles.

The device hummed louder than usual from the damage but still did its job in supporting the mer babbin's weight and went in whatever direction it was programmed to do.

Cossi had never seen anyone walk backwards so fast and felt bad for scaring him... "Surprise! I'm Cossi. a real phony!

She giggled again before continuing on. "Thank you for carrying me away from the crazy crowd! I too failed to snag a beautiful plushie!" she gave a pouty mouth before looking at the landphony with curious eyes.

Wabi now realized that what he had grabbed was not a plush. It was, in fact, another phony! His heartrate began to return to normal, and he pulled himself up on wobbly legs.

"That...that really was a surprise!" he said, putting a hoof to his heart. "I thought you were just a really sparkly toy!" Oh but that meant that he didn't get one of the toys...and they seemed to be running out. He'd missed his chance. A pang of regret passed through the little foal.

Once Cossi began to speak again, the adrenaline wore off, and Wabi felt laughter bubbling into his chest. He was so startled! And she definitely knew because she had said surprise!

He began to giggle, and that giggle turned into full blown laughter. "That...that was....so scary!" he said between chortles. Wabi's disappointment began to evaporate the more he laughed.

"You should have SEEN the look on your face!" she laughed as any little foal would .
She rubbed her belly as to make herself stop from laughing but she was having such a good time that she rolled off of her hoverboard having lost her balance.

The little sparkly mer laid on the ground and looked at Wabi with innocent watery eyes. "Look I'm a plushie!" and attempted to stay still as she closed her eyes and let out a bright smile. You could still hear her giggling as she pretended to be lifeless.

"I like you, can I be your REAL friend???" She asked him, and curled up from laughing really hard. Her tail glistened and sparkled in the sunlight as much as her entire body did.

Wabi's laughter stopped for a second as Cossi fell off of the hoverboard, but returned when he realized that they were ok. The giggles returned as the sparkly mer became a plushie once more.

"You were very convincing!" he said, pushing his mane from his tear streaked cheeks. Cheeks that went a little red from the laughter and the friend request.

"S-sure! We can be friends!" he said, watching her curl up in a ball. "I'm Wabi Sabi, what's your name?

Mimicking herself like a real phony mer plushie, she rolled over towards Wabi and then giggled through her teared up eyes.

Cossi let out a relieved sigh as she touched the colt with her tail. "You know Wabi Sabi, I'm really glad it was you that took me away from that mob over there. I couldn't imagine how i'd get treated if i were taken away and turned into someone's real plushie....." slowly, removing her touch from the earth phony colt to wipe a tear from her eye, she looked at him and smiled "My name is Cosmic Stream. but you can call me Cossi. My dream is to become a vlogger."

She got up and looked at him from head to hoof before she taking out her hoverboard offer a ride through the city for her new friend. "Do you....Want a lift on my hoverboard? They designed it for phonies like me to get around on land. We can go wherever you want to go."

She just nodded back at him over and over as he spoke to her, flushing sentences of knowledge about cameras one after the other. She couldn't help but smile...

"Say, do you want to be my camera bud and help me record wicked videos for my vlog?? If you're not comfortable doing night shots, we can do most of it during the day?"

Bokeh's eyes widen a bit. "What? Really?! That would be awesome~!" He blushed how high pitched his voice had gotten, so he muttered the next part. "I mean, that..would be really cool. I don't mind night shots, just...have to ask my parents' permissions..."

He clear his throat, trying to stand a bit straighter. "What kind of video blogging you do?"

"Well, if you don't want to drop it, i can put the camera in my waterproof casing? to protect it just a little more?" and out she whipped her camera see-through casing.

She steered her hoverboard closer to the trash bin. "Forget the night shots then. Let's do everything during the day."

Cossi looked to see if anyone was watching her, and jumped off of her board. "YaHhh wahhh-- I do still like this!" she shouted, as she flew over the bin, her tail flapping about in the air before the whole of her falls onto the soft grass behind it. "Silly stuff, mostly, and sometimes just some little short vids if things as what food i find gross or delicious. Stuff like that."

Bokeh laughed softly as he watched her jump over the trash bin. He quickly trotted around it to grinned at her. The camera secured in a little bubble of glowing magic, and the camera's strap still around his neck. "That sounds like something awesome to record. I am in!"

He rose the camera up to his face. "Say where to, Cossi and I'll make sure to capture it!"

She laughed with him as she noted that he didn't mind her odd quirks. "At home i am less wild though, can't break things, you know. So i answer questions users have sent me and spend time chatting about all the different topics."

Cossi thought long and hard, and decided to go to a place where she would excel in being awesome. "How about... the swimming pool? I was afraid to break my camera, but with your help, I can throw myself down the diving board and still have a camera at the end of the day!"

Bokeh tilted his head a little, trying to figure out what Cossi's plan had been before that would lead to breaking the camera.

"I think that would be great." He grinned. "We can do all different angles if you don't mind doing multiple jumps!"

She grinned, hard. "Not the high boards, no no, don't even know how i can manage to climb up there with...not enough hooves..." that was one thing she couldn't really do. Climbing upwards.

Cossi zoomed around Bokeh with her board. "I'm talking about the little pillar ones near the edge of the swimming pool. Dive for distance. Swim for speed."

Talking about swimming really got her excited.

"Bokeh, can you swim?"

He stared at her board for a moment. "...If I wish I had stronger magic, I bet someone could probably push one of these things up hard enough to lift you to the top board..."

He started walking towards the public pools. "Oh um...I can do a mean doggy paddle....." He chuckled. "I am not the strongest swimmer."

Cossi passed on climbing the high planks. "Bokeh, maybe when i am old enough i may attempt diving from them. but.. for now... let's stick to these." She pointed her hooves at the diving distance ones and she dove into the waters.

The sparkly mer surface again and looked at her new friend and thought about his safety. "Little dude, i trust you. You got my awesome camera, and now," she swam over to him and pushed her hoverboard closer to him, "now you get to drive my hoverboard!" She smiled really hard at how proud she felt, how easy it is for her to share her toys with others, "is easy to use too," she fidgeted with the safety buckle and opened it. "It has a round wheel like play cars and race cars. And the buttons over here lets you decide how fast the hoverboard can go!"

Bokeh quietly stared a large and beautiful butterfly, he wonder if it was the last of the season, seeing as it was getting nipper and nipper as they days went by. He been seeing a lot less bugs in generals ever since the leafs started turning different colors. His hooves very carefully climbed up a flower shop's display benches as he tried to get a closer look to the winged insect.

He had followed it all the way from the park, with very minor incidents, and he saw no reason to stop now as it quietly rested on some large flowers. He just had to be careful to not break anything, then no one could be mad at him.

It was another exciting day for Cossie to talk about herself and what she is doing but this day was even better because she just received her BRAND NEW TOP OF THE LINE VIDEO CAMERA. Her brother, of course, was nowhere to be found when she needed a test subject.

Sitting a little slanted on her hoverboard, she started to polish the lens as they drifted closer towards the city's shops. The air smelled like fresh baked bread everywhere with a small hint of coffee intertwined into it.

Cossie looked around while avoiding everyphony from bumping into her and her camera. Quickly, she added on the camera;s neck strap and held onto her new toy. Even a tiny scratch would make her lose her coolness.

One ear after the other perked up suddenly at the low soft humm of the hoverboard, and Bokeh manage to take his eyes off the(probably) last butterfly of the season to stare at an extremely shiny sparkly glittery merphony. "...I...what...okay that's new."

Cossi caught a quick glimpse of a butterfly as it sneakily hid behind a pot of carnations from a random flowershop she so happened to float on past. "Oooh, that's a pretty one," and on she goes, setting her new camera on record and off to capture the butterfly sneaking its way under a broad leaf.

She hit the pause button and turned herself around in a slow circle on her hoverboard to see what else she could spot. the tiny display screen first showed the greyish dirty cement with scattered dirt on it and then ended up showing a green colt with cutie red and white hair. he was staring right at her.

The merbab froze, blinked a few times, and then raised her face from behind the screen, needing to take a good look at what was staring at her in this fine sunny day out in the city.

Her frowny face quickly turned into a bright smile, and she waved a hoof at the colt and swung her tail onto the hoverboard to balance herself without rolling off of her board. "Hey, hi, how you doin'? Are you flowers shopping?"

She had no idea that she was one of the very few rare breeds of sparkling ponies.

Oh she was waving, that was so much sparkle. Bokeh mildly wonder if being all sparkly glittery like that made hard to take naps in little cozy sunspots. He realize he probably just staring a bit too long and quickly tried to fix it by waving back enthusiastically, making him lose his balance on the display bench.

His hooves clicked loudly as he scramble and jumped down onto the pavement to keep from falling flat on his face. He laughed nervously. "....I...Not really. I was following a butterfly...." He scratched the back of his head, embarrassed. ".....Nice camera."

Ah he waved back! Pleased to see that she is still wanted, she putput her way over to Bokeh on her hoverboard in slow gear.

"I saw a butterfly flutter by just now. But it went in hiding. I caught it on camera though," she fidgeted with the rewind button and replayed what she captured.

She heard his comment about her camera. "Thanks," she said, beaming him another bright smile. "I got this one not too long ago. Are you good at holding onto video cameras recording things? or you like the camera cameras where you just take pictures?"

Bokeh smiled as he watched the short clip of the butterfly before tilting his head a bit. "I been playing with a digital camera, but I haven't figure out the video settings..." He hummed "But I can hold things pretty steady with my magic.,," He pushed his hair back to show his horn.

"....Do you record a lot of things?"

"Me? Hehe, yes i do! I record and post them online for my viewers to watch. I got a handful of followers already. I hope in the future it will be more. Like thousands. or millions!"

Her eyes got bigger as she heard him say he wasn't sure what to do with his camera. "Dude, i could totally help you out with that later on." She stared at his horn, fascinated by it as she imagined him using his magic to hold onto a camera on his own. If only she had a horn like that. she wouldn't have to use a selfie stick or flip her camera around to record herself all the time.

Without realising, Cossi just started to nod her head as her eyes stayed focused on his horn. "I do. I do record a lot of things. Is a daily thing I do."

Bokeh smiled excitedly. "Really? That would be awesome if you can teach me!" He hopped about a bit on his hooves, his horn letting out a few sparks. "That's cool, is it like a video dairy?"

"No dude, THAT is cool," she talked back, pointing at his uni horn that let out tiny little sparks. "I don't know what that is, since i don't have one on my head, but i love it already."

Cossi grinned, "You're good at this uh, mister green pony," she said, not knowing his name. "It is like a video diary but for everyone on the internet to watch. I'm a vlogger."

"I can teach you how to use my camera to record and delete scenes, and maybe you show me what you can do? I've heard that those horns are magical, " she smiled, still interested to learn more about other types of phonies that exists. So far she only knew lots about Earth phonies. the rest are still a mystery to her, since she only read about them in books.

Oh by the way, "I'm Cossi, and you are?"

"Oh right, sorry, I am Bokeh!" He chuckled softly. "It's nice to meet you, Cossi."

"That would be awesome if you can teach me...." He grinned and made a few more sparks with his horn. "Well, I can hold things with my horn...and make little balls of light? They don't last very long, but they are cool when you need to go pee in the middle of the night..." He blushed. "....should probably not had said that..."

"Bokeh? That's an unique name. You must have cool parents," she spoke, not really knowing what parents really do since she, uh, has none?

His magical horn got her completely hooked onto the uni colt. "I could stare at you making sparks all day, Book-key, but I won't get any recording done," she laughed. "Am I saying your name right?"

She nodded as her new friend explained everythingto her and she giggled at his last sentence. "Heh, if you gotta go, you gotta go. At least it beats turning on the light at home, right?" she gave him a 'we cool, doesn't bother me' wink.

She gently pushes her camera against his chest. "Here, hold onto this. Put that strap around you neck first. For safety of the camera." If she was taller she would've swung the strap around his neck herself, but all she could do is flop to the side, unable to swing the strap over his head.

"Bo ke" He corrected gently and smiled. "Thought a lot of phonies seem to think my name is pronounc Book something with eh noise. Maybe I should change it to that." He laughed softly.

Lifting the camera with his magic, gently craddling it with a golden glow as he used his hooves to put on the neck strap on. "There, all safe and sound." He smiled at her, thought his eyes turned quickly towards the camera, looking at the viewfinder curious. "This is a really cool cam. It has a few non-standard filters. That's awesome. Oooh, night vision."

Her face flushed red and disappeared quickly as she replaced it with a big smile. "I'm a doof, I thought it was Book- Key," she said, thinking about it a little more. "Kind of like a flower bouquet?"

But Cossi knew she should drop the topic before she insults the uni.

Seeing how amused Bokeh is by her camera, she nodded in excitement and flapped her tail. "Nightvision you say? Would you want to give that a try? I've never done night vlogs yet but I think we will have a lot of fun. How about you practise during the day to get used to how light my camera is?"

She scooted closer to the uni and flicked the filter switch with her hoof to show him how they would look through the lens. "Cool huh?" she asked while waving at him.

The colt nodded. "Yes, like a flower bouquet."

"The night vision will just show a white screen during the daylight, since it's a filter that applifieds light..." He smiled. "We can try other filters during the day tho, unless we go into a dark indoor area, that could be fun too."

"This is a pretty awesome camera, yeah!"

Wave Watcher was picking up broken bottle shards at the bottom of the man-made lake when he noticed movements up above. He stared up and saw something orange and green moving about on the dock and eventually plunged into the water and sunk lower and lower.

At first he thought it was a cooked lobster wrapped in seaweed that got thrown into the lake by some ungrateful babbin that lived on land, but as he swam closer to take a better look, it turned out to be another merphony like himself. But this one was much older and bigger.

Wave Watcher swam even closer to the merphony stranger and checked out his cutie mark. From a quick glance, he didn't seem like the snappy type that disliked others invading his personal space... or was he?

Lettuce Sea barely spotted the young merphony, swimming widely around him to keep to keep from accidently hitting them with the large bag he carried along. "Hey, dude!" He twirled around him with a grin and bolted down towards the underwater homes.

Hah! He knew it! This merphony is pretty cool. "Hey!" he replied in return. "I thought you were a lobster thrown into the water." Wave Watcher swam after the stallion as he suddenly darted away from him. He flicked his tail and stretched out his legs infront of him to pick up speed. "Hey!! Wait up!"

Lettuce settled by his home, putting down his bag under his tail to keep it from floating upwards before turning to watch the colt swimming towards him. "What's up, dude?" He tried to pinpoint if he knew this little one.

The little mer phony stuck close to Lettuce's side watching his every move. He even followed him all the way home. "I am out exploring. Just popped out of the pack not too long ago. I want to see everything that I can. And watch this." He wriggled about and out popped a hoverboard that instantly floated quickly toward the sky and reached the water's surface due to its bouyancy. Wave Watcher noticed that he did a dumb move as his mouth gaped open and he quickly turned to the bigger merphony. "Errr.. Do you have some time to kill? I would like to grab my board before anyone else steals it then I will be back to follow you about!"

Lettuce Sea tilted his head one way and then the other. Okay so obviously he didn't know this little dude. Gotcha. Just out of the packet, that was one hell of a experience,if he recall correctly.

"Sure thing, dude, I got all the time in the world." He grabbed his bag from under his tail. "Let's get your board before it floats away. I doubt anyone gonna take it." He grinned widely. "Not that kind of waters, my dude."

Wave crawled onto his hoverboard and flicked his hair back. Can't go looking ugly when trying to impress another mer, he thought.

The board started to hum as it glided onto land. "All ready and set to go." He looked around the town and grinned at the older pony. "I know the perfect places that will totally WOW you."

Lettuce got onto his own hover device, one cover in scratches and dirt from his own explorations. He mildly wonder what the colt could mean, if he was really just out-of-the-pack, where could he had been besides the beach?

None the less, not one to pass the opportunity to go up to the surface, he just grinned. "Sure, dude, show me the way. Where we going?"

The little mer was panicking on the inside. "Well, uh, you know, we can go THAT way -where all the landponies are gathered. I know what's over there. Just follow me. But not too close. I need to see what's there first. For your safety."

The smell of freshly baked bread and muffins lingered in the air. And Wave was leading Lettuce towards that area.

While Lettuce had not problem rolling along with the kid's nervous rambling, he did take issue with letting him go first. Even as an adult, he didn't know everything about landphonies, but he had enough experience to know that it could be quiet unexpectedly  dangerous.

"How about, like, I just go besides you, dude? You know, like, we can both keep an eye on things like cars and stuff." Lettuce grinned, fully knowing that there was only one car in town, and it wasn't driven by anyone. It was a bit sneaky to do this, but it would let him keep the boy out of trouble. "Ya know what a car is, right, my dude?"

He was very excited to use his hoverboard on land! Grinning nonstop he drove and watched Lettuce have his behind him and he steered out of every phony's way, trying to not run them over. He knew this older pony would give him heck if he crashed into anything and probably take his board away too. and end up in water timeout. Yuck, he was not ready to stay in the water for a long time again and rather explore the land.

"Yes yes cars...those are DANGEROUS things.." He had no idea what cars were but having a bigger adult near him made him feel quite proud of himself for finding someone who WANTS to hang out with him.

"But look! Over there. That shop i told you is, uh, amazing," he shouted while pointing a hoof at a random location. Wave started to struggle in showing Lettuce the way... up ahead was a water fountain and beside it a patch forking to the left and one forking to the right.... and the bab swallowed really hard.

She noticed the shuffling of the group and watched more than half of them move to the left. Oh good  some have agreed to take the safer path through the dark cave, for now... It had been a while since they've walked forward holding torches as a group. the more they walked the more this place seems to go grow in size both length and height. Is this another theme park mystery tour? she wondered. if so, this will turn out to be a great halloween themed venue to attract more visitors. She looked at the 'decorations' and the objects around her to take notes to hold a similar themed event back at her own place in the future..
Her thoughts quickly vanished when she smelled ....

...a whiff of CHEMICALS and PLASTIC?? stopping to look around where the group led her to, she was in shock at the absurd amount of wasted plastic and discarded goo that once was used to make beautiful blisterpacks. Just what in the world happened here? she thought. This mountain of garbage was bigger than my own shooting gallery! sheesus.

Shifting her focus back at the poor soul in front of her with the beautiful gem-like eyes, the one that sent out all these wanted posters wanting to find her comrades, she gave Paper Tiger a gentle pat on the back. "Don't worry,  we're not gonna die in here! Since this place is already a trash mountain , i will look for a path for the group to move along further. That phony over there found real hair just now. They can't be that far away, right?"

Confident of where to go next, she looked at the babbin and said: "If you get lost or trapped, though i doubt you would, call out Bullseye, and i'll come pluck you out of danger!" With a playful wink and taking a long jump, Bullseye hopped up to the top of a large heap of rejected plastic blisterpacks.  She moved her torch around like prison guards did as she scanned the area.

Bullseye had been quietly trotting along with the small crowd and did not say a word until they had reached the opening of the cave. "Oooo," she said playfully moving her hooves in front of her face shielding her eyes, "a cave, how spooky..." and kept on walking forward with the others ready to explore the inside of this mountain and see if any ponies were to be found.

The paths didn't look bad to her at first but when the strange wind blew against only her tail, she wondered what could possible be living down below, if at all? Like a curious adventurer, she peered down into the darkness before inching back against the cave's wall. "That boulder, reminds me of this movie I have seen...something about this biiiig round ball rolling down a corridor flattening anything and anyone in its path...."

She chuckled as she imagined herself in that one movie scene and being squashed flat as paper. "I think both paths have their dangers waiting upon on. but... the safer way, in my eyes for this moment anyway, is to go....left," and she hopped on over to the other path.

Cossi glared at her classmate at first and then let out a long defeated exhale. "I'm sorry that we started off with a wonky start. Our attitudes don't fit together at all, for real" she laughed half jokingly half super serious. "Let me be honest with you, I can catch anything on this nature field trip: frogs, worms, beetles, fish... EXCEPT for the scary many eyed spiders!" she hugged herself in fear and clenched her jaws tight. Talking through gritted teeth, she looked at the pegasus and said "Go ahead make fun of me. But if you end up catching one for me...i'd.... appreciate it..." looking quickly away, the sparkly mer stared at the ground, and got a bit pouty for not being able to catch something on the task list that she feared since forever.

With a gentle scoop, she caught a frog that was croaking nearby her tail. "here, this one is yours," and offered the slimy amphibian to Aegis.

I did it!  no one was allowed over - so - we had fermented beancurd with lotus roots , ribs , chinese mushrooms, and fatchoy ( aka black moss aka terrestrial cyanobacterium lol ) in one glass bowl and pan fried salmon in one plate as the main dishes. with baby spinach as side dish for ourselves. then had warm brownies and fried nian gao with dan dan ( aka fried sweet rice cake with egg ) and some sort of soup i can't remember was too long ago lol.
